Guide to Resetting Your Password

1. Login Attempt
When you try to log in to Member Web or iSPEED, you will see a message indicating your password has expired. You will not be able to log in using your old password.

 

2. Initiate Password Reset
On the login page, click on the "Forgot Password" option (located at the bottom right corner of login button).

 

3. Submit Your Details
Enter the required information (such as your name, date of birth, ID type and contact number) to request a password reset.
Most Frequent Issues:
i) Phone Number Format Issue:
• Registered number may have an additional “0” at the beginning. Try using the format “+6001X XXX XXXX”.
• Registered number may have double country codes like "+60+60". The system does not allow direct entry of this format. Please copy and paste “+60+60 01X XXX XXXX” or “+60+60 1X XXX XXXX” into the phone number field.
ii) Phone Number Changes:
• If you have changed your phone number from the original one registered with Rakuten Trade, please immediately contact our customer service team to update your details and assist you through the reset process.
iii) Name Verification: 
Ensure that you key in your NAME (as per your NRIC or Passport) during the reset process, NOT your Rakuten Trade User ID.

 

4. Receive a Temporary Password
A new temporary password will be sent to your registered email address (in PDF). Please check your inbox (and spam/junk folder if needed).

 

5. Login with the Temporary Password
Use the temporary password from the email to log in. 
Note: 
• Your temporary password email contains a PDF that is password-protected.
• The PDF password is the first letter of your registered name in CAPITAL, followed by the last 6 digits of your IC number (e.g., Name: Ali, IC: XXXXXX-12-3456, PDF Password: A123456).

 

6. Change Your Password
Once logged in with the temporary password, you will be immediately prompted to set a new password of your choice.

 

7. Confirmation
After successfully changing your password, you will see a confirmation message.

 

8. Access Member Web / iSPEED
You can now access Member Web and iSPEED as usual with your new password.
