How can I change my personal details?

You can change your personal details at "setting", "edit" and proceed accordingly. For "Non-Mandatory" details you can change it online. For mandatory details, you must email us the change request at customerservice@rakutentrade.my.

Mandatory personal details:

  1. Marital Status
  1. Employment Status
  1. Occupation
  1. Designation
  1. Mailing Address (if different)
  1. Contact No. (Home)
  1. Contact No. (Office)
  1. Contact No. (Office Extension)
  1. Email Address (Secondary)
  1. Name of Bank
  1. Account Number
  1. Income Evidence (Latest 3 Months)
  1. Documentary Proof of Mailing Address

Non-mandatory personal details:

  1. Country of Birth
  1. Residency
  1. Race
  1. Bumiputra Status
  1. Permanent Address (As per NRIC/ other ID)
What I need to do to transfer my shares from another broker to Rakuten Trade?

To initiate a share transfer from another broker to Rakuten Trade, you will need to initiate the share transfer request from your broker. You are required to provide your Rakuten Trade CDS account details to fill up the shares transfer form. The shares will be reflected in your Rakuten Trade account upon successful transfer the previous broker.

Do I need to upload any documents as proof of change of address?

Yes, and you will need to upload proof of your new corresponding address (i.e.: copy of identity card (NRIC), utility bill, telco bill, etc.)
