MFA is a security feature that requires users to provide two or more verification factors when logging in to an account. This adds an extra layer of protection beyond a username and password.

Yes, MFA is required for all users accessing their accounts across all platforms, i.e. via web and iSPEED.my app.

The steps are as follows:

Step 1: Download and open the iSPEED.my mobile app. 

Step 2: Log in using your trading account credentials. 

Step 3: Upon your first login after MFA is enabled, the system will automatically prompt you to register your device for MFA. 

Step 4: Review and confirm your device details when requested. 

Step 5: An OTP will be sent to your registered email address. 

Step 6: Enter the OTP in the app to complete device registration. 

Step 7: Once verified, your device will be successfully registered for MFA.

No. Only one mobile device can be registered at any time.

A push notification will be sent to your registered device for you to approve or reject the login attempt.

You may have one active mobile app session and one active web session simultaneously.

You must first log in using your currently registered device. 

To remove the registered device, follow these steps 

Step 1: Navigate to Menu > Security > MFA > Remove Device. 

Step 2: An OTP will be sent to your registered email address. 

Step 3: Enter the OTP in the app to confirm the removal. 

Step 4: Once verified, your device will be successfully removed. 

Note: Device removal is only allowed after 24 hours from successful verification.  

Yes, once you remove your registered device, you can register a new one after 24 hours.

Your device registration will remain active even if the app is uninstalled or reinstalled. You will only be required to re-register if the device is explicitly removed.
